Kushiel's Dart is the first book in the Kushiel's Legacy series by Jacqueline Carey. Bestseller Carey's fifth book in her Kushiel's Legacy series, volume two of her Imriel fantasy trilogy (after 2006's Kushiel's Scion ), is a moody tale of violence. The first sequence (Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, Kushiel's Avatar is by far the best. It was a rip roaring good time. While it may disappoint some readers, Kushiel's Chosen has much less sex and far more political intrigue than Kushiel's Dart did, which suits me just fine. This isn't a review of one book, it's more of an overview of the first trilogy of Kushiel's Legacy by Jacqueline Carey. Kushiel's Chosen is the second book in the Kushiel's Legacy trilogy by Jacqueline Carey. Kushiel's Chosen (2002) is the second novel in Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series. If I had a hard time keeping up with all the characters, their cities and countries, and belief systems in the first book, that was NOTHING compared to Kushiel's Chosen. For certain they are my favorite books of all time. Her Kushiel's Legacy books rank among my favorite books of all time. I think it is the most straight up adventure story of the series and was a lot of fun to read. Perhaps you have seen me rave about them? A description of tropes appearing in Kushiels Legacy. And, considering how much I loved Naamah's Kiss, of COURSE I was salivating at the chance to read and review Naamah's Curse. These books tells the story of Phèdre nó Delaunay, courtesan and spy.
